About Us

The company

Moja Kwa Moja is the Local leading tailor-made safari company. It took us many years to reach the point where we felt comfortable using that strap line, it seems such a brash and sweeping statement. But the bottom line is that we put together great safaris, more elegantly, more efficiently, more reliably, at better prices and in greater numbers than anyone else.
Being the local leading tailor-made safari company might make it sound like we are some kind of huge corporation, but in reality the safari world is a very intimate space.
We remain a relatively small, owner-operated company, with modest offices in the Scandinavian – Sweden and our bese camp Kilimanjaro-Africa-Tanzania.
Since our foundation back in 2005 we have successfully managed to help over 50,000 guests travel on safari, the majority of whom have absolutely fallen in love with the places, the wildlife and the people that they have encountered along the way.

The people

We are a group of around twelve individuals who are absolutely passionate about safari hiking and conservation.
We believe that genuine hands-on expertise and experience are critical when building a quality safari.
We live here and we know very well africa, where we operate, guiding safaris,Kilimanjaro hiking and supporting community project.
All of us have had our lives transformed by the remarkable wildlife, landscapes and cultures. There’s nothing we love more than sharing these things with our families, our friends and our guests.

We we aim to deliver your trip with levels of service, expertise and ethics far beyond the usual expectations of a regular travel company.

Independence

We are proud to say that Moja Kwa Moja is completely independent. We have no commercial connections with any of the safari operators or lodge owners.
This is hugely important, as it means that we have no great vested interest in crow-barring certain elements into your trip. Our primary concern always remains putting together the trip which best suits your requirements.
This is in stark contrast with some of our competitors, who are overtly or covertly owned by large corporations, which also own major operators. We view this as a potentially huge conflict of interest, which fundamentally undermines their ability to offer honest, independent advice.

Conservation

In many developing countries, where government finances are tight, environmental tourism is the only significant source of income for conservation.
It is sustainable tourism which will provide vast, permanent and sustainable homes for iconic wildlife into the future.

How your trip helps

We are very much focused on the authenticity, sustainability and the conservation benefits of your trip.
We do our best to ensure that as much revenue as possible is generated for national park authorities, conservation bodies and (perhaps most importantly) those safari operators who really have conservation in their hearts.
So your trip should not only be one of the best things you will ever do, but will also have a really positive impact.
Our main mission is to deliver remarkable safari experiences that you cannot wait to broadcast to your family, friends and colleagues. In this way you inadvertently become an ambassador for conservation and help to spread the word.

We live here and we know Africa.
Age for us is just a number, all of our tours are designed for everyone, different ages and number of clients doesn’t matter we can deal with all, starting Individual client, small group up to large group. Safari and climbing are open all the time.

Our persistence is to educate our clients and nature lover, to provide funds for ecological conservation, to directly benefit the economic development and political empowerment of local communities, and to stand-in respect for different cultures and for human rights.
